happy thanksgiving everyone. in the spirit of the day, even though i don’t eat meat and plan to spend my whole day studying, i thought i’d regale you with the wonder (or horror depending on who you ask) of the TURDUCKEN. That’s right, turkey stuffed with duck stuffed with chicken. is it any wonder that paul purdhomme has the original recipe for it? here’s a good turducken page i found. the people preparing it are little too excited, but hey, to each their own. enjoy!

i gotta say, there are few things funnier than the mug shots of drunk celebrities. case in point, here are nick nolte and glenn cambpell:

now the great thing about this, is that you can really tell what kind of drunks they are based on their mug shots. nick nolte is more of a laid-back-”i love you man” kinda drunk. glen campbell is one of those belligerent-”i kick yo’ ass” drunks. haha, drunk celebs.

so i was talking to lonnie just now and she told me that the turkey and gravy soda is going for a lot on ebay. i looked it up and boy was she right. there are cases of soda going for upwards of $71 and individual bottles going for up to $20 each.

that’s pretty nasty. i mean, the prospective buyers obviously aren’t going to drink it. instead they are gonna horde these bottles and hope they gain value as they get older. i highly doubt this stuff gets any better with age. i bet its gonna be a huge letdown when these poor people find out 20 years from now that all their bottles of turkey and gravy flavored soda aren’t worth much more and, unlike wine, they can’t (or shouldn’t) crack open a bottle and enjoy it.

and to change subjects real quick, i’m sure you’ve heard of this show average joe and if you saw my entry from a few weeks ago, i’m not a big fan of the indian guy (we indian guys have no game and we were doing a pretty decent job hiding that fact till this guy went on tv). i was stoked when he got cut, but now he’s gonna be on miss match next month (the story). this can’t be good.

now, i don’t mean to perpetuate negative stereotypes, but these drugs addicts aren’t making it very hard. i’m not even gonna describe the story, its both funny and so so sad. the biggest problem with this is that i’m sure any nagging moral imperative that carrottop once had to stop his missing dog routine has now gone right out the window.

and then there’s this scam. once again, its things like this that make me really glad i don’t eat meat.

So Jones Soda Co. introduced, and promptly sold out of, Turkey & Gravy flavored soda. I know what you’re saying: “Paresh, you crazy, shut yo mouth!” Here’s the story for all you nay-sayers. Maybe next you’ll know better than to say nay. I love Jones Soda (the cream soda is pretty damn good) but I think they may have gone too far with this one.

Anyway, in a day that has seen too much effort go into this page, I though I’d balance out all the stupid news I post and actually post some real news. To that end, I got the news feed back up on the right side of the screen. Don’t worry, the stupid/funny news will keep on coming.
