April 13, 2004: Wow, November 5 to April 13, I update this thing way too often. Perhaps you couldn't tell that was sarcasm. Anyway, after I gave most of the Moot Court Board my website address this afternoon, I felt compelled to update it. I didn't want my less than awe-inspiring design skills to be compounded by movie and CD info that's 4 months old. So I updated the "now listening/watching/reading" sections. For those of you that don't know, I added a new movie to my Stupid Video page. I have new pictures that I want to post but I really don't have the time to make a new thumbnails for them all. Hopefully that (as well as a real design) will come some time this summer. I have a couple photo albums on Snapfish, just e-mail me if you want to see them and I'll send you a link. That's all for now, don't forget to read my weblog for more regular updates. November 5, 2003: So I ganked that terror alert idea from Alex's page. Its pretty funny. If you click on the picture, you can see the all characters they have associated with the colors. Elmo is the highest level. This makes sense. If someone told me that today the country was at Elmo alert, I for one would be crapping my pants. October 21, 2003: Could it be true? Did I actually move up to the big leagues and take my site off that piece of crap called Angelfire? Oh yes, its true. I couldn't argue with 3 years of free hosting. I understand no one knows about this site yet so I doubt anyone will be reading this anytime soon. I guess I'll stop now. September 30, 2003: So I put up a pic in my About Me section. Its a decent pic. Ricardo took it when I went to Davis in August. He kinda caught me off guard but its all good. Anyway, stupid Angelfire apparently don't like the fact that I'm endorsing pop-up blockers on my main page so they added the row of ads to the bottom of all my pages. I think this may be just to spite me but then again they gots to make they money too. The best i say is just ignore the ads and make sure you still have your blocker running becuase the pop-ups are still there. That's all for now, gotta get back to work. In the meantime, check out my blog, I update that more often than I do this page. May 6, 2003: See my homepage for today's site related news (which is what I've decided to devote this page to, I've got a separate weblog for the other stuff). See my weblog for continuing developments. November 3, 2001: Well, now that my midterms are over, I finally got around to updating my page in a big way. I added a bunch of pictures (as well as little captions for them all). My Winamp Playlist has been updated (a lot of new Rodney Carrington files plus The Gap Band!) and I'm also toying with the idea of making multiple picture pages but its 3:30 in the morning and that will just have to wait. Anyway, its late and I'm going to bed. "Let's whip it baby, let's whip it right, let's whip it baby, whip it all night"--The Gap Band October 26, 2001: Could it be that I've actually updated my page in some meaningful way? Why yes, yes I have! Alright, it's not all that exciting but hell, they are the first new pictures in damn near a year. They are just a couple pics from freshman year. One is my roommate proving he knows how to give hickies and how better to prove this than by putting the moves on his own arm. The other pic is from a little fun we had with C building. Lesson: Drunk people can be very convincing. September 18, 2001: The summer is finally over and with the end of summer has come the end of my internship. I think this is the only job I've ever had that I could say I truly enjoyed. I start my normal job in the computer lab again on Wednesday. Lab Management has a week long "Boot Camp" before the start of every school year. While I would love to just skip it, this is one of those "be there or you're fired" events so I guess I'll go. As for updates of this page, as you an tell just be looking at the dates on this page, I have slacked off quite a bit this summer with regards to this site. I have heard a number of complaints from people this summer that there aren't enough pictures. I'll be posting a new pic tonight for the sole purpose of pacifying these people. As for more, I make no promises but I hope to make more thumbnails before classes start. I have also added a little ribbon in my contents frame. While I am not normally the patriotic type I think this is the least I can do to show support for all the victims of last week's tragedies. That's all for now, hopefully there will be more soon. June 11, 2001: Finals suck! Finals suck! Finals suck! Finals suck! Finals suck! Finals suck! That's all I have to say about that. June 7, 2001: Damn, its been a long time since I've looked at this page, let alone updated it. I figured today would be a good day to update since my classes are finally over, my papers are finally done, and I found out today that I scored a summer internship in Senator Barbara Boxer's office. This can mean only one thing: getting frisked everyday on my way to work. (Her Sacramento office is in the US Courthouse. I felt violated after going there for my interview. I thought the guard should have at least bought me dinner first.) Anyway, I've got my stupid formal evaluation for work tomorrow. It was supposed to be on Wednesday but the manager wasn't there so it was rescheduled to Friday. Now the crappy part is that I was late for work this morning (a good half hour late). Had my eval been yesterday like it was supposed to be, my spotless attendance record would have still been intact. Also, against my better judgement, I watched the MTV Movie Awards tonight. They were alright except for the Best Villain award. Somehow, Jim Carrey (as the Grinch) beat Anthony Hopkins (as Hannibal). Is it just me or does a a big green thing that ends up singing Christmas songs with a bunch of dwarfs tripping on shrooms somehow not qualify as a valid villain? I just don't see how that beats feeding a little kid brains. Hell, what do we really expect from people who would actually take the time to vote for the MTV Movie Awards. As far as this page goes. I've still got a lot of work to do (obviously). I've done a bunch of coding tonight but I still have some stuff left to do. I am planning on making some graphics for my contents frame and I have some cool flaming letters for the title frame (I still have to resize them though). I also have to decide a style/design for this page. As much as I love the sterile look of a white background on everything, I need something new. If anyone has any ideas, let me know. Anyway, I should probably stop my ranting and play some CS. "It rubs the lotion on its skin, it does this whenever its told" "It rubs the lotion on its skin or else it gets the hose again!!" May 19, 2001: Its been a few days since I've been able to work on this page and in the last week I've gotten a bunch of comments from people asking why the counters on the frames and my original page were synchronized. The original page should have been somewhere around 400 and the frames page should have been somewhere around 25. I just looked at it and it should be fixed now. If anyone sees this problem come up again, let me know. In the mean time, I need to get to work deciding my classes for next quarter. I have to register on the 23rd at 7 AM. Of all the crappy times. May 15, 2001: I probably should be studying for a midterm right now but for some reason I'm drawn to this page. I added actual pages for all those different sections in the content frame. Granted, the pages aren't that great, but hell, they're better than nothing. Ok, that's enough for now, I'm going to the study lounge for a long night of studying Economic History. WOOHOO!! |
